Still very boring here. Had to go back to the dr.s and do another round of antibiotics along with prednisone to try to shake the brochial part of this infection. Just will not let go and is wiping me out a bit. I am feeling better but still tire out fast. On the knitting front I managed to cast on a sock - it is a very simple sock in a really fun yarn - the Blue Moon medium sock in the Christmas Balls colorway. The nice thing about a simple sock is it is easy to put down and pick up again (and very forgiving if you doze off while knitting). I was thinking I would be productive and organize part of the stash (i.e. put some of the other yarns I have been collecting away with like fibers in protected storage). What I ended up doing was sitting in a chair kind of admiring it and then taking a nap - stash organizing for after I am actually feeling better. I like playing with my stash but will need to do it after I am past the point where the trip through the drive up pharmacy does not make me need a nap. Oh well - at least sleeping a lot is somewhat seasonal......

Have been really irritated - caught a bug of some kind that is definitly hitting my lungs. Went to the Doctor and she gave me antibiotics, inhalers and instructions to rest - but I am now seven days in and would like to stop coughing so hard. This cough will just not let up and as a result I am really sore - my ribs hurt and my throat is also not happy. If it does not improve I think I might be right back at the doc's tomorrow. I might need to do the double set of antibiotics thing. It has happened in the past as anything that involves my lungs seems to hit me extra hard. I would like to say I have been able to take advantage of the time to read etc. but the truth is I wear out really fast and have been mainly sleeping. Just this short jaunt on the computer is enough - I am going to go sleep again. Made for a very unenventful Halloween - I snoozed through it. Will need to do some fallish things later on in the month.
